Second Generation COWA Wrestlers!

As the official home of School District 23 BC School Sports wrestling, the Central Okanagan Wrestling Association (COWA) provides various local programs to promote the sport of Olympic wrestling in the Central Okanagan in British Columbia. In our club’s role as a local non-profit society, we reaffirm our commitment to the community by promoting positive values in our athletes. These values include teamwork, commitment to a goal, hard work, striving for excellence, fair play, and respect for others. Wrestlers represent their school in school tournaments and the club in club tournaments. Size does not matter in this sport because there are weight classes.  This is the only combative sport sanctioned by BC School Sports.  No one sits on the bench in this sport! This is the best off-season sport for football and rugby athletes.
